The MS615 is an innovative architectural ARM micro-server designed specifically for distributed storage, enabling 12 ARM micro-server nodes in a 2U chassis and supporting 24 3.5-inch drives.
Dual Switch (Active-Active)
The MS615 supports Active-Active switching so that when a single switch module fails, the ARM node switches the service to another switch module.
Modular architecture design
The MS615 is a modular cableless design with 12 modular ARM nodes, 2 Ethernet switch modules, 2 modular fan modules and 2 power modules. The system is easy to maintain and all the modules can be implemented Online replacement.
Ultra-low power consumption
The MS615 uses a low-power ARM chip that consumes as little as 2W of power per TB of storage capacity; it can shut down idle nodes and reduce TCO expenses in the equipment room.
The MS615 supports the IPMI 2.0 protocol to remotely manage the micro server host and support SOL functions (Serial Over LAN) for rapid deployment and recovery of storage clusters.
